Handcrafted Singing Bowl – 16cm C tone

A ‘Tibetan Singing Bowl’ is an instrument that produces a rich, deep tone when it is struck with its accompanying wooden mallet. The sound is said to promote a peaceful, relaxed, meditative state of mindfulness. Therefore, they are popular for use as a “gong” to signal start or conclusion of a meditation session.

The tone of this singing bowl corresponds to the Root Chakra, which is located at the base of the spine. When this chakra is properly balanced and aligned, it can help us to feel more grounded and secure in the world. This chakra is associated with the musical note C.

This unique singing bowl is handmade in Nepal, and is of the highest quality. It comes as pictured, with the wooden striker and maroon cotton cushion.
