Tibetan Copper Incense Burner – Medium
Tibetan Copper Incense Burner – Medium
Authentic vintage-style Tibetan incense burner, with removable lid, features a Dharma Wheel flanked by two deer. This extremely popular symbol, adorning the roofs of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and Centres throughout the world, reminds us that Buddha Shakyamuni gave his First Turning of the Dharma Wheel in Deer Park, India where the deer gathered to listen intently to his teachings.
The elongated metal box includes richly carved Ashtamangala, the Eight Auspicious Emblems endemic to Eastern religions, including Buddhism. The box’s delicate design is suitable for decorating your home or office. Just light the incense stick, lay it flat on the metal sheet supplied or on a thin layer of sand or rice, close the lid, and leave the aroma to waft throughout the environment. It’s safe to simply allow the layers of ash to accumulate with the passage of time, emptying and refilling the deposit only occasionally.
